Job Title: Graphics/ Multimedia/ Websites Designer (Contract)
Duration: 3-6 months contract
We see design as visual storytelling—a powerful way to engage, inform, and inspire. We are looking for a highly creative Graphic / Multimedia Designer who can transform conceptual ideas into compelling visual representations across both print and digital media.
This is a 3–6 months short-term contract role, with the potential to convert into longer-term work based on performance and business needs.
You are not only a champion of beautiful design but also passionate about digital channels and social media marketing, with an understanding of UX/UI, animation, social media, and traditional and/or digital displays. Our ideal candidate is familiar with current design and video tools and is skilled in managing the full graphic/multimedia design process—from concept development to final delivery.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of branding, communications, and marketing, with the ability to adapt styles and layouts to suit different projects, audiences, and platforms.
Objectives of This Role
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer and multimedia software to visualise and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business objectives.
- Obtain input from and report directly to the CEO/Director, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to Project Managers, ensuring designs meet organisational standards and brand expectations.
- Translate written or verbal ideas into designs and/or videos that connect with audiences, communicate ideas clearly, and represent the company or client appropriately.
- Work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects and sub-teams, managing schedules and meeting deadlines in an environment with multiple concurrent deliverables.
Daily & Monthly Responsibilities
Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategise with internal teams or clients to create a wide range of materials, including:
- Webpages and landing pages
- Presentation decks
- Branding and marketing collateral
- Logo and Signage
- Internal and external communications
- Videos, animations, social media posts, and newsletters
- Create digital images, videos, motion graphics, and text-based visuals; design creative and out-of-the-box visuals for websites and social media, aligned with company brand guidelines.
- Develop user interface functional specifications and define the user experience at various levels of functionality.
- Develop design concepts using appropriate software and execute original content, determining effective use of colour, typography, imagery, and layout.
- Design website organisation and navigation systems by translating business needs into meaningful and user-friendly digital products.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design artwork and/or video content.
- Perform any other duties relevant to the role as required.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Multimedia, Arts, Marketing, Branding, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional creativity with strong visual and conceptual design skills.
- 2–5 years of relevant academic and/or professional experience using industry-standard design software and tools.
- Proven experience in graphic and/or multimedia design, supported by a strong creative portfolio.
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent), vector graphic editors, and collaborative tools such as: Wix (for website design), Canva (for design and marketing assets)
- With strong design, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Photography and videography experience, as well as proficiency with photo and video editing software, is an advantage.
- Ability to apply user-centric methodologies and best practices to the design of websites, UIs, mobile interfaces, and online content is a plus.
- A desire to continuously learn and grow, sharpen technical skills and develop soft skills through ongoing learning and training.
