Oversee the daily works of 3 Accounts Executives to ensure accuracies of the accounting entries for the group's entities.
Review monthly management reports and financial highlights, ensure reports are sent out on time.
Prepare consolidated financial reports.
Review of AP from subsidiaries from regional offices (Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia), ensure they comply with the finance SOP.
Ensure timely submission of accounts by subsidiary companies.
Co-ordinate year-end audit process & check audited financial statements for Singapore and Malaysia entities.
Reconcile intercompany balances between subsidiary companies.
Review and restructure loan agreement between subsidiaries
Improve policies & procedures to streamline accounting processes.
Prepare Annual Budgets & Forecasts and assist in reviewing of tax returns.
Review & enhance financial processes where key information and analysis are produced, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Support the group in financial project assignments related to investments, tax and legal compliance.
Perform other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum 5 years experience as an Accountant or at least 2 years experience in similar industries (trading, management consultancy, investment management, private equity).
Fast paced team player that is able to work independently with tight datelines, self-motivated.
Meticulous, initiative, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office applications
Has good leadership qualities, good communication skills, meticulous.
Additional Information:
Applicant must be willing to work in our JB Office (Mount Austin Perdana) / KL Office (Equatorial Plaza).
Shortlisted applicant will be required to attempt some assessment tests as part of our recruitment process.
Candidates are hereby informed that they will be offered on yearly renewable contract for 2 years before conversion to permanent role
