Job Description

About us

We are a medium size investment holding Company with business interest in the agricultural, consumer products, education, industrial technologies, property, telecommunication, travel and tourism sector. Currently, we are seeking talented professional candidate to join us.

1. Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent (highly preferred / required depending on company policy).
  • Master's Degree in Finance / Business Administration is an added advantage.

2. Experience

  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting.
  • At least 3–5 years in a senior management / group-level finance role.
  • Experience in consolidated group reporting, multi-entity accounting, and group-level financial management.
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and supporting strategic financial decisions.
  • Experience with audit processes, liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions.
  • Exposure to corporate restructuring, M&A, or investment evaluation is an advantage.

3. Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS / IFRS).
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting systems and business intelligence/reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of taxation, treasury functions, internal controls, and compliance.

4. Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing finance teams across multiple subsidiaries.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to Board and senior management.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to contribute to business planning, risk management, and operational improvement.

5. Other Requirements (Optional / Company-Specific)

  • Willingness to travel to subsidiaries when required.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance requirements, policies, and SOP implementation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
