We're Looking For a Highly Driven Group Financial Controller To Lead Financial Strategy And Operations Across WRC's Dynamic Investments, Which Include
- KYM Group Public-listed leader in food-grade & industrial packaging.
- TSM Group Automotive wire harness manufacturing & landmark assets (e.g., KYM Tower & Eastin Hotel)
- TZEL Group Properties, petrol stations, cafs, orchards, hostel management.
Job Responsibilities
- Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting
- Lead group-wide financial consolidations per MFRS/IFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare board-level reports and investor relations financial packages.
- Public-Listed Company Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with company secretaries, auditors, and external advisors on statutory and regulatory submissions.
- Group Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Drive group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes, including multi-subsidiary planning alignment.
- Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure alignment of subsidiary budgets with overall corporate financial goals.
- Fund Management & Treasury
- Monitor and manage the group's cash flow, banking relationships, and funding requirements.
- Propose and implement fund allocation strategies for optimal liquidity and investment returns.
- Oversee loan covenants, interest servicing, and capital structure planning.
- Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Finance
- Lead financial due diligence for potential M&A activities.
- Support deal structuring, valuation, integration planning, and post-deal synergy tracking.
- Collaborate with legal and strategic advisors for investment assessments.
- Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Maintain and enforce group-wide financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Ensure subsidiaries comply with internal audit and statutory requirements.
- Mitigate financial risks and enhance compliance across the group.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple business units.
- Act as a business partner to C-level leaders and subsidiary management.
- Communicate clearly with investors, auditors, bankers, and board members.
