As a crucial partner to the business, you will spearhead sustainable growth through visionary customer partnerships, rigorous commercial governance, and robust portfolio management. Simultaneously, you will inspire, mentor, and elevate a high-performing Key Account Management (KAM) team.
What you'll be doing
- Design and execute mid- to long-term commercial strategies that seamlessly align with broader Modern Trade channel objectives, taking full P&L accountability for the cluster (including Net Revenue, Gross Margin, and Trade Investment ROI).
- Cultivate, influence, and manage high-level partnerships with senior retail stakeholders to shape category strategy, enhance brand visibility, optimize product mix, and capture long-term growth.
- Mastermind collaborative Joint Business Planning (JBP) initiatives and lead high-stakes annual trading agreement negotiations, ensuring absolute alignment with corporate governance and business priorities.
- Oversee and optimize substantial trade investments within strict budget parameters, championing high-accuracy forecasting and steadfast compliance with commercial terms.
- Continuously evaluate key performance indicators—including revenue, volume growth, market share, visibility, and stock availability—implementing swift, data-backed corrective measures where required.
What you'll need:
- Atleast 8 years of Key Account Management - Mordern Trade within the FMCG sector, including at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
- Solid exposure in Joint Business Planning (JBP) and complex retailer negotiations.
- Highly proficient in end-to-end P&L management, budget tracking, trade investment optimization, and ROI-driven commercial decision-making.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a proven ability to turn complex market data and insights into actionable business wins.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior external partners and collaborating productively across internal cross-functional matrices.
