Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our Group Procurement team as a Senior Manager, Non-IT Categories. This role will play a critical part in driving strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier management, category management, contract negotiations, and procurement governance across multiple markets within Asia and Africa.

You will partner with senior business stakeholders, procurement teams, legal, finance, and third-party risk management functions to optimise procurement spend, improve supplier performance, and strengthen commercial outcomes while ensuring effective risk management and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies across Non-IT spend categories.
  • Lead strategic sourcing activities including RFPs, RFIs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and strategic suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for spend optimisation, cost savings, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive supplier relationship management and vendor performance governance.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments, and commercial reviews.
  • Partner with legal, finance, and risk teams to ensure procurement compliance and governance.
  • Utilise spend analytics and market intelligence to support procurement decision-making.
  • Promote procurement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
  • Support procurement transformation and digital procurement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 8-15+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management experience.
  • Proven experience managing indirect / non-IT procurement categories.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management capabilities.
  • Experience working within multinational organisations and regional procurement environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, vendor governance, and third-party risk considerations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in spend analysis.
  • Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes and procurement systems such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
