Group Secretarial Department, Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
- The successful applicants will, with the guidance of the Company Secretary, discharge corporate secretarial duties and ensure statutory compliance for a portfolio of companies. They will also play a vital role in implementing corporate exercises, Board and corporate decisions, and in complying with and observing the company strategies, policies, procedures, and governance measures.
Requirements:
- ICSA graduates and licensed SSM professionals will have an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Administration. Candidates with an LLB will also have an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in a corporate or legal department of an established public listed company or a secretarial practice.
- Familiar with provisions of the Companies Act and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Capital Markets & Services Act, SC Equity Guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and/or other common office software applications.
- Experienced in minute-taking via verbatim (not using recording devices).
