Job Description

We are seeking a GroupSenior Manager, Finance (SEA) for our client, a regional industrial manufacturer to be responsible for leading the Group's corporate finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury management, taxation, and strategic financial support across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Group's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring compliance with MFRS/IFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and statutory regulations.
  • Oversee Bursa Malaysia announcements, annual reports, statutory reporting, and regulatory submissions.
  • Manage the Group's treasury function, including cash flow, banking relationships, and financing facilities.
  • Drive corporate tax compliance, tax planning initiatives, transfer pricing, and monitor changes in tax legislation.
  • Oversee the finance operations of the holding company, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and Board/Audit Committee reporting.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, company secretaries, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities while coordinating statutory audits and compliance activities.
  • Administer the Group's insurance portfolio, including policy renewals, claims management, and risk coverage reviews.
  • Support corporate finance initiatives such as mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, divestments, fundraising, financial modelling, due diligence, and Board documentation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the CFO on strategic projects and other business initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA(M), or equivalent; MIA membership/Big 4 Experience is an advantage.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in Group Finance, Financial Reporting, and Consolidation, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, corporate finance, taxation, and treasury management.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior management and external stakeholders effectively.
