Joint Venture MNC - Manufacturer/Distributor of FMCG

Basic Salary up to RM4000
Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all Halal and food safety activities in the factory and ensure compliance with internal, Halal, GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.
2. Manage, maintain, review and update Halal, GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 documentation, as required.
3. Maintain accurate and systematic document control for Halal and FSMS documentation.
4. Conduct supplier audits, internal audits, inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance to Halal, GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 standards and prepare for external audits (JAKIM, certification bodies).
5. Train and guide staff on quality and food safety procedures.
6. Lead and maintain a strong food safety culture.
7. Lead the Food Safety Team whilst guiding and ensuring the implementation and effectiveness of the Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000).
8. Lead the Internal Halal Committee whilst guiding and ensuring the implementation and effectiveness of the Halal Assurance System.
9. Conduct risk assessments related to product safety and halal integrity.
10. Conduct validation study and support new product handling procedures and operational improvements.
11. Lead any halal meeting, food safety meeting and management review meetings.
Job Requirements:
1. Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field.
2. Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Halal, GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000.
3. Strong knowledge in Halal, GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 requirements and management systems.
4. Excellent analytical, leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in food safety documentation management (manuals, SOPs, checklists, audit reports, etc).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-deparment collaboration.
7. Able to work independently.
