Job Description

We are currently seeking aHandymanto join DHL eCommerce Malaysia in Puchong!

TheHandymanwill be responsible for executing maintenance and technical tasks across all DHL eCommerce Klang Valley Hub & Depots by following instructions and assignments provided by the Network Development Manager. The role ensures timely completion of maintenance activities while supporting operational reliability and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Main Accountabilities

  • Receive and carry out maintenance and technical tasks assigned by the Network Development Manager.
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance work on electrical and mechanical systems within the premises.
  • Report status updates, issues, and completion of tasks regularly to the Network Development Manager.
  • Assist Network Development Manager in compiling maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance across depot facilities as needed.
  • Obtain the necessary tools and equipment to perform repairs for any malfunctions or faults across depots efficiently.
  • Monitor the inventory of first aid kits and materials, notify the manager of shortages or procurement needs.
  • Conduct depot visits to follow up on complaints raised by depot leads and revisit after issues are fixed.
  • Carry out depot visits to follow up on complaints reported by depot leads, upon the manager's advice, and revisit to ensure the issues have been resolved.

Desired Skills / Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in facility/maintenance, preferably within logistics or warehousing.
  • Experience managing multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of e lectrical, mechanical, and building maintenance.
  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working across multiple locations in Klang Valley.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be available for on-call emergency maintenance coordination.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in Maintenance Management, Facilities Management, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Valid driving license.
