Job responsibilities:

The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, quality control, staff management, and maintaining kitchen standards in line with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The role requires strong leadership, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver high-quality dishes and ensure a consistently excellent dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a 5 STAR hotel, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in fine dining, high-end restaurants, or hotel kitchens is an advantage.
  • Expertise in food preparation, menu development, and recipe creation.
  • Proficiency in kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address kitchen challenges effectively.
  • Fluent in Chinese language (written & verbal)
