Main skillsets required
End to end IT project implementation experience and good understanding of Banking Risk Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Financial Risk & Ops Risk. Technical Delivery, Solution Architecture and Design, Strategic Planning and integration of multiple systems and People Management.
Experience managing Tier 1 applications systems . Experience in MFRS9, EGC, etc would be added advantage.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields.

Core Banking Risk & IT Knowledge:
Proven implementation/management of Banking Risk systems in financial institutions or large/complex organizations.
Understanding of banking risk trends, issues, and regulatory requirements (local/regional).
Strong IT knowledge: infrastructure, system performance, application management, optimization.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders up to senior management level.
Strong communication (oral & written), leadership, and team collaboration skills.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Strength:
Ability to identify underlying issues, patterns, and connections in complex business/IT environments.
Personal Attributes:
High integrity, ethics, professionalism, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Certifications:
Program/Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), Agile/Scrum, or ITIL (preferred).
Banking Riskrelated certifications (advantage).
Technical Depth:
Hands-on exposure to data analytics, credit scoring platforms, limit management systems.
Knowledge of emerging fintech/AI/automation solutions in banking risk management.
Market Intelligence:
Awareness of best practices, industry benchmarks, and digital transformation trends in banking risk and credit scoring.
Budget & Cost Optimization:
Proven ability to optimize IT budget utilization (system reuse, faster app development cycles, cost savings).
Change Management:
Demonstrated success driving organizational transformation and process re-engineering initiatives.
