Role Summary
The Head of Enterprise Strategy & Business Planning drives the long-term strategic direction, commercial growth agenda, and transformation initiatives for the Enterprise Business Division. This role shapes enterprise market strategy, identifies new revenue opportunities, accelerates transformation, and builds strategic partnerships that strengthen the telco's position across connectivity, cloud, ICT, managed services, cybersecurity, and industry solutions.
The Head acts as a key advisor to senior leadership, ensuring the enterprise business achieves sustainable growth, operational excellence, and competitive differentiation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Growth Leadership
- Define the Enterprise Business Division's 35 year strategic roadmap, aligned with corporate goals and industry trends.
- Conduct market sizing, industry analysis, competitive intelligence, and opportunity mapping across ICT, cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, managed services, and digital solutions.
- Shape portfolio strategy across SME, Corporate, Public Sector, and Global/Wholesale segments.
- Develop GTM (go-to-market) strategies for new verticals, solutions, and emerging technologies.
2. Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify and execute new revenue opportunities, partnerships, JV opportunities, ecosystem plays, and strategic alliances.
- Lead commercial negotiations, strategic deals, and partnership frameworks with global vendors, hyperscalers, technology platforms, systems integrators, and industry partners.
- Develop commercialization models for enterprise connectivity, cloud, 5G enterprise, AI, IoT, and digital services.
3. Transformation & Operational Excellence
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation programs to improve sales performance, customer experience, solution delivery, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee change management, capability uplift, and organization readiness for new strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Network, Technology, Finance, and Operations to accelerate time-to-market and improve service delivery.
4. Financial Planning & Commercial Governance
- Own commercial feasibility assessments, business cases, ROI analysis, and investment prioritization for new enterprise initiatives.
- Monthly management and Board updates performance, strategic initiatives.
- Monitor P&L performance, pipeline growth, cost structure, and segment profitability.
- Support pricing strategy, product portfolio profitability, and commercial governance.
5. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Leadership
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Network, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Customer Operations to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Advise CEBO on strategic priorities, partnership models, and enterprise business risks/opportunities.
- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-first thinking.
6. People Leadership
- Lead and mentor teams in strategy, transformation, business development, and commercial analytics.
- Build strong internal capabilities for market intelligence, business case development, and program management.
- Create a high-performance culture focused on innovation, growth, and execution excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related field.
- 1215+ years of experience in telco/technology/ICT, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Strong background in enterprise strategy, business development, commercial planning, or transformation.
- Proven ability to execute strategic initiatives, manage complex partnerships, and deliver revenue growth.
- MBA or Master's degree preferred.
