Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, team oversight and be responsible in managing the resources and development of HLISAM fund management team
• Responsible for the portfolio construction, management and performance of HLISAM portfolios including equity, money market and fixed income mandates
• Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve its strategies goals and objectives to ensure maximization of portfolio performance
• Work with other departments, including business development and sales division to build the business and to support existing business requirements
• Develop and maintain a robust credit research and analysis framework
• Responsible for the development of portfolio investment monitoring and performance reporting
• Ensure all investment activities are carried out in accordance to specific fund mandates, as well as internal and external guideline and policies.
• Responsible for the creation and delivery of periodic fund investment presentations to existing and prospective clients
• Able to articulate the firms market views, outlooks and strategy in periodic commentaries and presentations.
• Ability to use AI in fund management to enhance profits, moving beyond simple automation toward an Agentic AI system that can research, reason, and execute complex strategies autonomously will be an added advantage.

Job Requirements

• Possess Bachelor Degree or professional qualification related to Accounting, Finance, Economics or any equivalent.
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in fund management.
• Strong understanding of fixed income and equity portfolio management techniques.
• Strong market and industry knowledge pertaining to fixed income and equity instruments, structured products, corporates and market players.
• Preferably candidate with CMSRL in fund management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office/Bloomberg/Reuters.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate passion, teamwork and strong desire to learn.
• Fluent in spoken and written in English and Malay.
