Job Summary
This position is required to manage the administration of MRANTI's land including land use planning, statutory requirements, support development projects and planned activities accordance to masterplan and Third-Party development. This role oversees planning studies, zoning, coordination with regulatory agencies, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure land development aligns with local and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Design Team, sub-lessees, and internal departments on third-party requirements prior to the preparation of Sub-Lease Agreements, ensuring all compliance requirements are incorporated into tender documentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies, budgeting exercises, land use planning, and zoning assessments for development projects.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate the development of master plans, subdivision processes, and land use studies to ensure compliance with executed agreements.
- Liaise with local authorities and planning and regulatory agencies to obtain the necessary approvals and permits.
- Interpret and apply zoning ordinances, final land titles, comprehensive plans, and land development orders in accordance with the National Land Code (NLC).
- Support public engagement initiatives, including external meetings, briefings, and public hearings.
- Ensure all submitted documentation is complete, accurate, fully substantiated, and compliant with the requirements of the NLC
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Preferably a minimum of 15 years of working experience in property development.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in managing land administration matters.
- Preferably with Senior Management experience, specialising in property development.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Malay, with proficiency in written and spoken communication.
