Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute national marketing campaigns for Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia (MSK).
  • Develop key national campaign assets, including videos and key visuals, in collaboration with external agencies.
  • Monitor and optimize national campaign performance across MSK markets.
  • Review and align with internal teams and departments to ensure marketing assets are consistent with the overall campaign strategy.
  • Strategize and plan long-term brand-building initiatives based on brand positioning for MSK.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and cross-functional departments to ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Generate key market insights among customers and non-customers through surveys and market research.
  • Manage LSM (Local Store Marketing) and creative team outputs for marketing materials.
  • Support the Operations team in developing strategies to recover and improve performance of declining stores.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) processes, including new product launches, existing product improvements, and product discontinuation.
  • Assist Procurement in managing marketing-related stock and inventory.
  • Identify and explore new growth opportunities for the business.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 6 years+ brand/marketing experience, consumer facing companies known for creating strong brand and emotional connections with customers.
  • A passion for the focus of food and developing inspired creative.
  • A genuine hunger to keep pushing the boundaries of marketing effort to drive same store sales, customer counts and franchise profitability.
  • Have the ability to deliver powerful storytelling in both traditional and new media channels. Exhibit a mindset to drive sales today, brand overtime with ongoing campaign and creative development and optimization.
  • Understand needs beyond marketing creativity including pricing, profitability, execution quality and analytical part of the marketing.
  • Full funnel media knowledge including traditional print/TV, digital and social paid, CRM and other owned media. With a focus on return on investment, ongoing optimization.
  • Full project management skills.
  • Obsession with weekly and daily results, flexibility to spin on a dime and adjust plans in motion to optimize sales.
  • National marketing management and execution experience within a Group framework.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate across whole marketing mix, including promotion, distribution, pricing and product.
  • Effective prioritization and management of channels to market (digital, store, activation partners).
  • Work with a center of excellence and shared services model requiring the ability to build and manage strong collaborative working relationship.
  • Strong experience in marketing effectiveness.
  • Proven digital and food marketing experience.
  • Has worked in a local market for a global business and understands stakeholder engagement protocols across geographies.
  • Creative development and filming understanding is a must.
  • Media landscape understanding is a must.
