Role Overview:The
Head of Business Unit will lead the company's transition from a traditional manufacturer into a market-driven, global provider of premium structural components and precision engineering solutions for the consumer electronics industry. Holding full P&L responsibility, you will drive international market expansion, secure long-term partnerships with tier-1 global tech brands, and lead a high-performing cross-cultural team to accelerate revenue growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Component Growth: Formulate the BU's 3–5 year strategic roadmap to capture market share in high-end structural enclosures, mid-frames, and precision components. Analyze global tech hardware trends and build competitor maps.
- Global Key Account Management (KAM): Spearhead global market layouts and secure long-term component supply agreements with major global consumer tech OEMs. Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle—from technical exchange and custom product development to sample validation and mass production.
- Full P&L Ownership: Manage the financial health of the business unit, including revenue, gross/net profit margins, cash flow, accounts receivable, inventory turnover, and manufacturing Return on Investment (ROI).
- Advanced Solutions & Technical Synergy: Partner with R&D and Technical Centers to identify future hardware design trends. Drive innovations in precision extrusion, CNC machining, anodization, and advanced surface treatments to offer premium, ready-to-assemble solutions to tech clients.
- Cross-Functional Optimization: Coordinate seamlessly with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure rapid project delivery, cosmetic excellence, and superior customer satisfaction.
- Global Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing, international commercial team, establishing a robust talent pipeline and succession plan.
- Digitalization & Intelligence: Establish and optimize CRM platforms, sales forecasting mechanisms, and market intelligence tools to drive data-backed decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above. Preferred majors: Materials Science, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration. An MBA or overseas study background is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant industries, with at least 5 years in a solid team management role.
- Proven experience as a Sales Director, Commercial Director, or Business Unit General Manager in large multinational manufacturing companies, precision machining (CNC) firms, or advanced hardware structural component suppliers.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with extensive experience in P&L management, budgeting, cost control, and financial statement analysis. Excellent commercial negotiation and risk control skills.
- Proven track record of managing and inspiring cross-cultural, global teams.
- Professional fluency in English (as a working language). Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
