JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build a diversified, robust and productive network of sales channels to serve segments for Astro products & services.
  • Primary focus is to win dominant share of household segments with pay-TV and broadband/ fibre offerings by revitalizing dealer & retail network, building reseller relationships, and win-win partnerships with other adjacent businesses (from electrical & electronics to e-commerce & connectivity-powered solutions).
  • Beyond the obvious goals of value creation and resource management, the role requires strong relationship building and powerful business ideas.
  • Enablers include but not limited to new business models, incentive management, relationship development, process design, and effectively leveraging the sales & marketing machinery.
  • Growth and development opportunities lie in channel development for emerging business streams specifically individual segments with no-frills and OTT offerings.

How is your day to day looking like:

  • Concept & idea development for new relationships and channel campaigns
  • Expand Astro touchpoints for acquisition, grow productivity and yield
  • Designing customer experiences in channels and channel readiness
  • Business process, incentive design and operations to support channels
  • Channel insights and performance management
  • Modernizing digital capabilities relating to channel performance to provide efficiency, agility
  • Team management of x head count comprising specialized channel leads (retail, dealers, resellers, and more)
  • Integrity, compliance and brand stewardship in relation to partners
  • Manages Astro leadership and stakeholders for alignment and approvals, maximizing organizational capabilities to deliver goals.
  • Where necessary, guide project management and go-to-market preparation to deliver channel performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working experience in sales, marketing, content distribution, telecommunications and/ or technology with at least 4 years in managing teams.
  • Strong appreciation and understanding of content, connectivity, technology and/ or household solutions
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate business strategy and create compelling case for value creation
  • Highly capable in developing business cases and operational execution of partner relationships
  • Robust analytical skills, business empathy, has a knack for innovation and attention to detail
  • Exceptional leadership skills to brings diverse group of people towards a common direction.
