About The Job

WWe're looking for an unstoppable pioneer to shape and drive the future growth of the Montigo brand. As Head of Commercial, you'll be an inspiring leader and formidable commercial creator, tasked with the extraordinary opportunity of driving our ambitious evolution forward.

You'll own revenue across every route to market, i.e. our own channels online and offline, domestic and international wholesale partners, and distributor networks while uncovering new opportunities to accelerate the brand and entice new consumers to Montigo.

This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for profitable growth, expanding market presence, and elevating brand consistency across every channel. You'll shape and execute commercial strategy, unlock new opportunities, and deliver best-in-class consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive ambitious, profitable and sustainable growth across the business
  • Own and execute the commercial strategy and sales plan to hit revenue targets and win new consumers
  • Own full P&L management: forecasting, budget control, pricing, promotional strategy and margin management to maximise profitability
  • Lead and grow all routes to market: owned retail and e-commerce/D2C, domestic and international wholesale, and distributor networks
  • Build and scale the digital commerce business: .com site, marketplaces and online consumer experience to drive purchase, conversion and loyalty
  • Manage international expansion: distributor relationships, export, and entry into new markets
  • Manage channel strategy end to end: role, differentiation, budgeting, forecasting, stock management, and KPI tracking. Proactively manage channel conflict to protect pricing and margin
  • Deliver a distinctive, consistent brand experience in store and online
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of channel leads and distributors
  • Partner closely with Planning, Brand, Product, Finance and Operations including the demand/S&OP process to ensure inventory matches forecast and goals are met
  • Identify and unlock new opportunities to accelerate growth and market share

What You Need To Have

  • 8–10 years in commercial, sales or retail leadership, ideally within lifestyle, fashion, sports, FMCG or consumer brands
  • Proven track record of profitable growth and ROI across multiple channels
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including full P&L ownership, pricing and margin management
  • E-commerce / D2C expertise i.e. .com website, marketplaces, conversion and online consumer experience
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience structuring and managing wholesale and partner deals
  • Data and analytics fluency: comfortable with forecasting, BI/dashboards and making decisions from data, not instinct
  • Experience devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair across multiple channels
  • A track record of leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong leadership presence and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable managing complexity and ambiguity, finding creative solutions to blockers
