The organisation is developing a heritage precinct anchored by a museum and a future theatre, supported by curated local F&B, cultural experiences, and the adaptive reuse of heritage shoplots. It operates with a purpose‑driven, long‑term approach, placing strong emphasis on storytelling, place‑based narratives, and elevating under‑represented Malaysian artists within a lean, hands‑on working environment.

As a Head Of Digital Marketing, You Will Define And Lead The Overall Digital Marketing And Brand Strategy, Establishing a Clear Brand Voice, Positioning, And Messaging Across All Digital Channels. Also

  • Translate organisational vision and cultural objectives into actionable digital plans, including campaigns, content strategies, and launch narratives.
  • Oversee the full digital ecosystem, including website, social platforms, newsletters, and digital campaigns, ensuring consistency and storytelling quality.
  • Drive audience development locally, regionally, and internationally, with a focus on cultural audiences and visitors.
  • Lead content and storytelling direction, guiding editorial, social, video, and multimedia content to reflect heritage, place‑based narratives, and cultural context.
  • Provide strategic oversight of communications and PR, ensuring alignment between digital marketing, media outreach, and key announcements or launches.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including tenants and cultural partners, to deliver integrated campaigns that increase visitation, engagement, and destination appeal.

Anforderungsprofil

A Successful Applicant, You Should Come With

  • Proven experience leading digital‑first brand or marketing strategies; exposure to cultural or heritage environments is an advantage
  • Strong capability in brand storytelling, content strategy, and narrative development, with a hands‑on approach.
  • Experience leading and developing small teams, with the ability to work collaboratively in lean, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with practical execution and attention to detail.
  • Passion for culture, heritage, and public engagement, with sensitivity to communityand place‑based narratives.
