A manufacturing company is currently looking for a Head of Safety, Health and Environment (HSE) to be based in Selangor.
As the Head of Safety, Health and Environment, you will be accountable to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety, health, and environment strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Drive a culture of Safety across all plants at all levels and areas of the organization
- To develop skills and training for the organization and develop HSE team.
To be successful you need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum extensive 10 years of experiences and in Safety, Health and Environment operations requirements, business standards and authority relation.
- Familiar with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.
- Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, Fire Service Act 88, DOE related acts and other legal and other requirements apply at workplace.
- In-depth understanding of safety, health, and environment laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with industry best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey complex safety information clearly.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire a safety culture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to improve safety performance.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Certifications such as the Certified Safety & Health Officer or other certifications are added advantages.
- Certification such as CePSWaM/ CePIETSO/ CePSO are added advantages.
- Qualifications in auditing such as lead auditor certification for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are desirable.
