Head of ESL (IGCSE & A-Level)

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: Negotiable (up to RM9,500)

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and support the development of ESL/EAL programmes across the school

* Plan and deliver effective ESL lessons

* Support ESL students within mainstream subject classrooms through individual and small-group interventions

* Develop differentiated ESL materials and collaborate closely with subject teachers

* Conduct assessments to monitor students speaking, listening, reading, and writing progress

* Prepare and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for EAL students

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student confidence and achievement

* Participate actively in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and professional development initiatives

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of IGCSE & A-Level academic programmes and school operations

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or recognised postgraduate qualification in Education, TESL, ESL, or related field

* Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, academic leadership, and school administration

* Experience with IGCSE and A-Level academic management is preferred

* Strong background in teacher mentoring, evaluation, and professional development

* Experience supporting ESL/EAL learners in international or mainstream school settings

* Familiarity with international school operations and student support systems

* Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student wellbeing

Candidates with experience with boarding or pastoral responsibilities will have an added advantage.
