Head of Export Sales (Construction Equipment) Asia Emerging Markets

Are you a strategic sales leader with a track record of breaking into untapped markets We are a leading global MNC in the construction equipment sector, and we are looking for a high-impact Head of Export Sales to spearhead our expansion across Asia.

This is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth through our diverse product portfolio, specifically targeting large-scale infrastructure and residential developments.

The Role: Impact & Responsibilities

As the Head of Export Sales, you will be the primary architect of our growth strategy in emerging markets. Your mission is twofold: aggressive market expansion and elite team leadership.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

  • Drive Sales Excellence: Execute direct sales efforts across emerging markets to significantly increase revenue and profitability using our comprehensive Asia product portfolio.
  • Strategic Market Entry: Identify and penetrate untapped regions, specifically targeting large residential, affordable housing, and infrastructure projects.
  • Pipeline Development: Build robust sales pipelines from scratch by leveraging local intelligence, direct field engagement, and proactive market development.
  • New Channels: Open and institutionalize new customer channels to ensure long-term market presence.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Empower a High-Performing Team: Lead and mentor a team of Business Developers across key territories, ensuring they meet ambitious sales targets and deliver projects successfully.
  • Strategic Networking: Establish and nurture C-level relationships with developers, tier-1 contractors, engineering consultants, and government authorities.
  • Consultative Influence: Shift the needle on project specifications and purchasing decisions through technical expertise and relationship-driven consultative selling.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Leader: You possess 10+ years of experience in export sales or business development within the construction equipment, heavy machinery, or building materials industry.
  • Market Hunter: You have a proven hunter mentality with a track record of successfully entering and scaling emerging markets in Asia.
  • Strategic Influencer: You excel at navigating complex stakeholder environments and can influence project specs at the design and tender stages.
  • Geographical Expert: You possess deep knowledge of Asian market dynamics, regulatory environments, and local business cultures.
  • Travel Ready: You are comfortable with frequent regional travel to engage with teams and clients on the ground.
