The Head of FP&A, Commercial is a finance leadership role responsible for driving business performance through insightful financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. This position function as a business partners for Consumer, Enterprise and Revenue Assurance & Fraud functions, providing sound financial advice to shape commercial strategies, optimise revenue growth and ensure sustainable profitability. The ideal candidate is a commercially astute finance leader with strong analytical capabilities, excellent business partnering skills, and a track record of driving growth in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
What You Will Do
- Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for commercial portfolios, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and financial targets.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CFO and commercial leadership through analysis of financial performance, market trends, and competitor activity to support informed decision-making.
- Partner with commercial teams to evaluate new business initiatives, investment opportunities, and pricing strategies through robust financial modelling and ROI analysis to drive profitable growth.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Develop, implement, and enhance FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to improve data accuracy, visibility, and timeliness of insights.
- Act as a strategic finance business partner to business leaders by providing financial planning support, commercial guidance, and cost control oversight to drive efficiency and cost optimisation.
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, analytical capability, and quality of financial insights.
- Lead and develop the FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture with strong analytical, business partnering, and stakeholder management capabilities.
