- Oversee the financial planning and analysis function to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies to align with organizational goals.
- Lead budgeting processes and provide recommendations for resource allocation.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Mentor and guide the FP&A team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Profile
A Successful Head Of FP&A Should Have
- Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the Education/related sector of at least 8 years.
- Strong leadership skills, having managed teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex financial data.
- Experience in leading teams and collaborating across departments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial insights.
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance, such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline processes.
