Head of Information Technology Department

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in ICT, with at least 8 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience in ICT Project Management, IT Infrastructure, System Development, and ICT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, ICT governance, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, budgets, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Familiarity with enterprise systems, databases, networks, cloud technologies, and data centre operations.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CCNA, AWS, Azure, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ICT project delivery, including configuration management, release management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and user training.

• Oversee ICT governance, policies, security compliance, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

• Manage ICT vendors, contracts, service levels, and project-related procurement and payment processes.

• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of ICT infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, servers, and communication systems.

• Lead data centre and disaster recovery centre operations while ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee system architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing activities, technical support services, and ICT asset management.

• Develop and implement ICT strategic initiatives, cybersecurity awareness programs, and continuous improvement plans.

• Manage data preparation, reporting, and information sharing to support business operations and decision-making.
