Position Summary
- The Head of International Business will take full responsibility for business development and operations in Southeast Asia. This role leads the local sales and delivery teams to drive business growth, customer success, and brand establishment in the region.
- You will report directly to company CEO and play a pivotal role in our global expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Business Development
- Develop and execute business strategies and annual plans for the Southeast Asia region;
- Identify and expand opportunities within the pan-semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors, including wafer fabs, OSATs, panel manufacturers, and equipment suppliers;
- Drive strategic customer acquisition, long-term partnerships, and contract closure.
Team & Organization Building
- Manage and grow the local team of sales, delivery, and technical support professionals;
- Establish efficient cross-functional collaboration mechanisms to ensure project delivery and customer satisfaction;
- Recruit, mentor, and motivate local talent to support business growth.
Government & Ecosystem Relations
- Represent the company in collaboration with local industrial parks, government agencies, and industry associations;
- Build partnerships with ecosystem players, including channels, universities, and R&D organizations.
Operations & Management
- Own the P&L and ensure annual revenue and profit targets are met;
- Provide regular market insights, competitive analysis, and business performance reports to headquarters;
- Lead brand-building and marketing initiatives in the region.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields;
- Minimum 8 years of B2B experience in industrial software, intelligent manufacturing, automation equipment, semiconductor, or related industries;
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asia manufacturing ecosystem; existing customer or project experience is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset, capable of turning strategy into executable growth plans;
- Excellent customer engagement, negotiation, and relationship management skills;
- Proven cross-cultural team leadership capability, with experience managing both sales and delivery functions;
- Familiar with regional business and policy environments; government or industrial park relationship is a plus.
Language & Eligibility
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (to communicate effectively with HQ in China);
- Proficient in English for business communication;
- Holder of Malaysian or Singaporean citizenship/residency.
