Head of Machining (CNC Machining - Based in Thailand - Salary up to RM35k/month)

Position Overview: The Head of Machining will lead and oversee the engineering department within our CNC machining operations. This role is responsible for driving innovation, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC machining and a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams. This strategic leadership role is based in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Optimize CNC machining processes and post-CNC processes.
• Oversee the maintenance of CNC machines, equipment, fixtures, and cutting tools.
• Oversee engineering projects and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure quality compliance.
• Manage budget and resources for the department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in CNC machining and engineering management. Experienced in supervisory/managerial level.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM and CNC programming.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of GDT and metrology.
• Experience in Hard Disk Drive Industries is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate in Thai or Chinese is a bonus.
• Candidates without a degree but with relevant experience will be considered.
