Responsibilities
Lead the Crew
- Hire, train, mentor, and schedule an A-team of operations and maintenance rockstars
- Build a strong, fun, feedback-first culture that respects high standards
- Lead from the front - earn your team's respect through clarity, consistency, and presence
- Keep payroll and labor compliance tight (we follow rules, just cooler ones)
- Solve Problems Independently
Take ownership of issues the moment they appear, whether operational, people-related, or customer-facing
- Make fast, informed decisions without needing hand-holding
- Turn recurring problems into systems, not band-aids
- Always be two steps ahead - anticipate rather than react
- Special Projects (Innovation and Execution)
- Work directly with the founders on creative projects that push boundaries
- Turn raw ideas into actionable plans, timelines, and outcomes
- Execute experiments, from digital tools to community-driven initiatives
- No two projects are the same, but every one will stretch your creativity, speed, and ownership
Build Community
- Lead customer service with heart - listen, solve, connect
- Turn complaints into high-fives and first-timers into loyal fans
- Set the tone: warm, welcoming, and a little bit wow
- Understand what makes people come back, and deepen that magic
Club Operations
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep
- Ensure equipment, lights, courts, and spaces are always ready
- If something breaks, you fix it fast
- Build checklists, routines, and systems that make Base run like a machine
Track the Finance
- Manage day-to-day financial operations: payments, expenses, budgeting
- Track revenue, control costs, and keep things lean
- Report key numbers to the management team with clarity and insight
- Spot inefficiencies and eliminate waste proactively
Bring the Vibes (Events and Programs)
- Dream up and roll out events, socials, leagues, tournaments
- Innovate with new programs that keep Base fresh and exciting
- Work with the team to execute flawlessly - ideas mean nothing if they do not launch
- Always one step ahead, always raising the bar
Who We Are Looking For
- You have managed teams and physical spaces before - gyms, clubs, sports facilities, F&B, retail, hospitality
- You are not afraid of spreadsheets or sweat
- You make decisions confidently and take responsibility for outcomes
- You communicate clearly, kindly, and honestly
- You earn respect, not demand it, by leading through action
- You are comfortable working nights and weekends - that is when the magic happens
