Summary of the position
1.Plan, develop, implement and execution of Company's operational strategies and action plans to ensure that all operations unit achieve the business target, profitability and service levels that are consistent with the strategic objectives of developing a long-term efficient operations, which supports growing profitable business.
2.The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver the annual business plan to ensure positive operational cash flow and sustainable service delivery.
2. Manage day-to-day operations of ongoing projects and coordinate with project, planning, and line management teams.
3. Oversee logistics functions including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, reverse logistics, and supply chain solutions, while managing key external stakeholders.
4. Ensure operational teams perform efficiently, effectively, and within approved budgets.
5. Ensure company priorities and service standards are consistently met and professionally represented internally and externally.
6. Support the development of company strategies by understanding market conditions, policies, competition, and business opportunities.
7. Identify and resolve operational issues through performance monitoring, feedback, and root-cause analysis.
8. Set operational priorities by evaluating objectives related to efficiency, cost savings, safety, and sustainability.
9. Work with other Division/Department Heads to ensure all Operations team members have meaningful and challenging Personal Development Plans, monitor their progress, and address any gaps.
10. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Operational Services and provide clear monthly performance reports to the CEO and the Board.
11. Share responsibility with other Division/Department Heads to ensure organisational systems comply with governance, health and safety requirements, in collaboration with the Governance team.
Requirement:
1. Degree in Logistics/Business Management or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of experience in senior managerial positions.
3. Highly motivated and able to work well under pressure.
4. Knowledgeable in the field of transportation, shipping, trading, and logistics.
5. Experienced in Project Management and Finance.
6. Good in communication and negotiation skills.
