A well-established and reputable property developer in East Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Senior Development Manager to join their growing team. With a strong track record in townships and mixed-use developments, the company continues to play a key role in shaping Sarawak's urban landscape.

As part of their expansion plans, the successful candidate will lead the planning and execution of large-scale development projects from concept through to delivery. This is a strategic role with both technical and commercial responsibilities, ideal for someone looking to leave a lasting mark in one of Malaysia's most promising regions.

Your new role

• Drive and manage end-to-end township and parcel development, including master planning, authority liaison, budgeting, and project delivery.
  
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure milestones, budgets, and quality targets are achieved.
  
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts, cost controls, and billing projections
  
• Ensure timely submission of plans and documents to local authorities, and oversee the process to secure necessary approvals and CCC.
  
• Lead internal and external meetings to resolve operational and technical challenges.
  
• Identify project risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, statutory, and environmental requirements.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  
• Minimum 8-10 years experience in property/township development.
  
• Strong understanding of local authority processes, infrastructure works, and contract management.
  
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage consultants and contractors.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
