Our client is a prestigious, global technology leader in the semiconductor ecosystem. With a reputation for high-precision manufacturing and an elite international customer base, they are currently in a phase of strategic expansion. To support this growth, they are seeking a seasoned Head of Quality to lead their quality organization and uphold their status as a Gold Standard provider in the region.
The Role
This is a high-visibility leadership position reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be the architect of the site's quality strategy, responsible for bridging the gap between customer expectations and manufacturing excellence. Your objective is to lead a high-performing team in achieving Zero-Defect manufacturing and industry-leading yield rates.
Strategic Leadership & Quality Governance
- Strategic Roadmap: Design and implement a total quality management (TQM) framework that aligns with global corporate goals.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team across QA, QC, and Reliability Engineering.
- Audit Leadership: Act as the lead for all high-stakes customer and regulatory audits (ISO/IATF).
Technical & Operational Excellence
- Yield & Capability: Direct oversight of Cp/Cpk, Yield, and Defect Density metrics to drive bottom-line profitability.
- Problem Solving: Lead the site's 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and CAPA initiatives to ensure rapid resolution of quality excursions.
- Advanced Tools: Champion the use of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and FMEA across the production floor.
- Customer Success: Manage RMA processes and field failure analysis, serving as the primary technical point of contact for global semiconductor customers.
Supply Chain & Compliance
- Supplier Quality: Oversee the qualification and performance monitoring of raw material suppliers.
- Risk Mitigation: Partner with Engineering on Design for Quality (DFQ) to identify and eliminate risks before they reach the line.
- Traceability: Maintain world-class documentation and change control systems.
The Ideal Profile
- Background: 10+ years in Semiconductor Manufacturing with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (HOD or equivalent).
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Materials).
- Expertise: Mastery of SPC, FMEA, 8D, and Reliability Testing.
- Soft Skills: A diplomat's approach to customer management and an auditor's eye for detail.
