About the Company

Our client is a reputable CNC precision manufacturing company based in Penang, serving global customers in semiconductor and high-tech equipment industries. As part of their growth and commitment to operational excellence, they are seeking a seasoned Quality leader to drive quality strategy and ensure compliance with international standards. The RegionalHead of Quality Assurance is responsible for leading the full spectrum of quality assurance and control processes across the manufacturing operations in SEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control teams, ensuring adherence to internal standards and external regulatory requirements
  • Oversee quality processes across the full production lifecycle, from incoming materials to final product release
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and best-in-class quality methodologies
  • Conduct internal audits, compliance reviews, and process evaluations to ensure alignment with ISO, AS9100, and customer requirements
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues and improve processes
  • Lead root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, and other quality tools to reduce defects and improve yield
  • Liaise with external auditors, customers, and regulatory bodies to maintain certifications and compliance
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes, recommending improvements to quality systems
  • Monitor and report key KPIs such as defect rates, yield, customer complaints, and cost of quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing quality management
  • Must have minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Head / Senior Manager)
  • Strong expertise in AS9100, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
  • Hands-on experience with SPC, FMEA, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis methodologies
  • Proven experience in CNC machining, precision engineering, or high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Ability to drive culture change and continuous improvement initiatives
