Job Description

We are partnering with a leading precision engineering manufacturer to identify a Head of Quality to lead and strengthen the organization's quality management function across its manufacturing operations. This role is critical in driving a culture of quality excellence, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle while supporting the company's growth and commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies that support continuous improvement initiatives, enhance operational performance, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team, ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the entire production process, from incoming materials to final product release.
  • Direct quality audits, assessments, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to internal policies, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify quality-related challenges, implement effective corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality management, recommending and implementing initiatives that enhance quality performance.
  • Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and accountability, ensuring the organization consistently delivers high-quality, reliable products while protecting its reputation and customer confidence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing quality management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or director-level position.
  • Strong expertise in quality management systems and methodologies, including AS9100, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience within precision machining, semiconductor equipment, or other high-technology manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and people management skills.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lead Auditor qualifications will be an added advantage.
