Manage human resource within the Retail Product Management Unit e.g. establishing staff requirement, job specification, job description, performance appraisal standard, job assignment and rotation, continuous coaching, training and counselling staff.
Train, guide and transfer the learned banking skills, knowledge and technicalities of credit/product/marketing to the team members.
Retail deposit and loan product development/enhancement and process enhancement.
Formulate, review and enhance deposits and loan manual for front line staff
Initiate & drive campaign and marketing activities to achieve Overall loan and deposit target.
To ensure products and campaigns meet the business objective.
Plan and monitor deposits and loan performance.
Responsible for the business performance i.e. Profit & Loss (P&L) of the respective products.
Enhance the performance of asset quality in order to prevent impaired loan and mitigate the debt losses.
Optimize the business process and continuous to explore various methods to improve collection results & cost effectiveness.
Liaise with external parties, BOC China and BOC Hong Kong related to deposit and loan issues, such as product development/enhancement, survey, enquiry and briefing.
Keep abreast of the provision and changes in the Statutory requirements, Head Office Policies and Bank Negara Malaysia's Guidelines to ensure due compliance in all aspects of human resources and administration.
Adheres and ensures that the policies, procedures and guidelines listed in the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Operations Manual and Foreign Administration Exchange Rules are complied as well as all other operating policies/procedures and regulatory rules are complied at all times.
Perform any other functions as assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Possess at least a Degree in any field
Minimum 10 years experience in retail deposits & loan product development and sales
Familiar with industry trend including products, pricing, operations procedure and compliance & AML and BNM guideline
Client focused and good in time management with ability to prioritize
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with attention to details
