Drive the strategic development and execution of the company's Specialty Chemicals marketing and trading operations to support business growth, value creation, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement marketing and trading strategies to expand market presence and maximize shareholder value across traditional and emerging markets.
- Sales & Commercial Execution: Lead the execution of annual sales targets, negotiate Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and master contracts, ensuring optimal terms and minimal risk exposure.
- Risk & Delivery Management: Oversee risk mitigation efforts with financial institutions, manage delivery schedules (ADP), and ensure contract compliance while maximizing value from surplus products.
- Market Intelligence & Research: Build and maintain market intelligence systems, conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity, and use insights to drive bidding strategies and business planning.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers through strategic alliances, regular engagement, and effective issue resolution.
- Communication & Reputation Management: Align customer communication strategies with corporate objectives to enhance the company's image and responsiveness.
- Laboratory Oversight: Manage lab operations to ensure timely and accurate analytical support for specialty chemical production.
the requirements
- Bachelor's degree/ diploma or equivalent sales training or experience.
- Availability for regular business travel.
- Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries.
- Excellent planning & organizational skills.
