Why does this job exist and why is it critical

Job Summary:**

Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales division, drive revenue growth, and develop high-performing sales teams. This role will be instrumental in shaping our market presence and achieving ambitious sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Implement regional sales and distribution plans
  • Lead and motivate sales teams to achieve targets
  • Monitor sales performance and recommend improvements
  • Analyse regional sales performance and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Resolve operational issues in sales channels.
  • Ensure compliance with sales policies and standards.
  • Support regional sales campaigns.
  • Work with internal teams for smooth sales execution.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the telecommunications or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management, with a history of achieving financial targets.
  • Extensive experience in channel and distributor management, including the development and optimization of partner networks.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methodologies.
  • Exceptional market acumen and the ability to adapt sales strategies in dynamic environments.
  • Expertise in developing and executing effective sales strategies, with a focus on measurable results.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, able to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience in team leadership and coaching, with a passion for developing sales talent.
