With a strong consumer presence nationwide and ongoing outlet and franchise expansion, the organisation is investing heavily in strengthening its supply chain capabilities to support scalable growth, operational excellence, and cost leadership.
To support this next phase, the group is appointing a Head of Supply Chain to lead and professionalise its end-to-end supply chain function across procurement, logistics, inventory, and systems.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the COO / Managing Director, this role will own the full supply chain strategy and execution, ensuring reliable supply, cost efficiency, food safety compliance, and operational scalability to support rapid business expansion.
This is a senior leadership position suited for someone who enjoys building structure, optimising processes, and driving transformation within a growing, multi-site environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute group-wide supply chain strategy aligned with growth, service, and cost objectives
- Lead procurement, warehousing, logistics, and inventory teams across central kitchen, warehouse, and outlet operations
- Establish KPIs and performance dashboards to improve reliability, efficiency, and service levels
- Manage sourcing, negotiations, and supplier partnerships for raw materials, packaging, equipment, and services
- Ensure supplier compliance with halal, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Implement and optimise ERP and digital supply chain systems to improve visibility, governance, and data accuracy
- Strengthen demand planning and inventory control to reduce wastage and stock-outs while improving turnover
- Oversee nationwide distribution and logistics operations, driving OTIF performance and cost optimisation
- Partner with QA to uphold food safety standards, audits, traceability, and recall readiness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and cost reduction programmes
- Support outlet and franchise expansion through scalable SOPs and supply readiness
- Manage import/export processes and ensure full regulatory and customs compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
- 812+ years of supply chain or operations experience, ideally within F&B, or retail chains. 3 years of experience in HOD role.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional supply chain teams
- Strong ERP and supply chain planning systems expertise (SAP/Oracle) is an added advantage
- Solid understanding of halal supply chain, food safety, and Malaysian regulatory requirements
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
