As the Head of Supply Chain Sourcing and Contract Manufacturing Operations, you will work with a team of engineers to deliver new technologies to customers by developing high-quality features.

You will play an important role in:

Management

Senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end strategic and operational management of external manufacturing partners and the broader supply base. This position balances high-level strategy with operational excellence to ensure product quality, cost-efficiency, and supply continuity.

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies for key material categories and services.
  • Oversee the selection, qualification, and validation of global suppliers and contract manufacturers (CMs).
  • Maintain a diverse and resilient supply base to mitigate risks such as geopolitical shifts or material shortages.

Contract Manufacturing (CM) Operations

  • Manage the primary interface between the company and its CM facilities, particularly during New Product Introduction (NPI) and transition to mass production.
  • Monitor and control CM production plans, ensuring alignment with customer demand and machine capacity.
  • Drive manufacturing partner performance to meet 100% quality standards and increase first-pass yields.

Contract & Performance Management

  • Lead complex negotiations for high-value contracts, Master Purchase Agreements (MPAs), and Open Books Material Calcalations.
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), supplier defect rates, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Conduct regular business reviews and audits to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., ESG, ISO standards).

Financial & Operational Oversight

  • Accountable for managing large spend budgets and delivering significant cost-saving initiatives.
  • Optimize inventory levels across the network to balance product availability with working capital requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies at supplier sites.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering and Finance team to ensure product manufacturability (DFM) and align supply activities with business growth goals.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of procurement, planning and program management professionals.
  • Implement and champion digital tools such as ERP systems (Oracle) and AI-driven analytics, for improved supply chain visibility.

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10–15 years in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement leadership roles. Proven track record in contract manufacturing operations and
  • supplier negotiations.
  • Experience in multinational environments with complex supply chains.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking and ability to align supply chain with corporate objectives.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating supplier performance and market trends.
  • Leadership and people management to guide cross-functional teams.
  • Communication and negotiation skills for building strong supplier partnerships.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain systems (ERP, Oracle, etc.).
