Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Business Partnership
- Coordinate Hiring Plans: Work closely with Business Unit managers and Corporate HR to understand staffing gaps and implement practical sourcing strategies for high-volume hiring.
- Provide Market Advisory: Act as an internal advisor to hiring managers, offering local market insights and suggestions to improve the candidate experience.
- Promote the Brand: Ensure all recruitment activities align with the company's local brand reputation, creating a professional and welcoming image for applicants.
Day-to-Day Hire-to-Integrate Operations
- Manage End-to-End Recruitment: Oversee the daily operations of the recruitment and onboarding team, ensuring tasks from initial screening to corporate induction run smoothly and meet service quality standards.
- Track Performance Metrics: Use recruitment dashboards to monitor standard team metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, fulfillment rates, and onboarding turnaround times.
- Enforce Compliance Checkpoints: Maintain a tight grip on hiring governance, making sure documentation validation, mandatory background checks, required licensing, and internal audit rules are strictly followed.
Onboarding & Team Engagement
- Deliver Induction Programs: Oversee the assimilation and welcome programs specifically designed to get the Shared Services workforce up to speed quickly.
- Run Engagement Activities: Organise monthly touchpoints and feedback sessions for new hires, tracking participation and feedback to constantly improve the onboarding experience.
Process Improvement & Team Leadership
- Supervise the Team: Lead, coach, and support a team of recruitment and onboarding specialists, helping them build their capabilities and maintain high performance.
- Adopt Digital Tools: Work with the HR Tech team to spot bottlenecks in your workflow and adopt practical automation, digital tools, or GenAI features to cut down on manual administrative work.
- Data Integrity: Ensure applicant data is kept accurate, secure, and organized within the HR systems.
Requirement
- Experience & Leadership: A Bachelor's degree with 9–12 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including at least 3 years leading a team. Background must be from a centralized Shared Services, BPO, or high-volume agency environment.
- Industry & Regional Knowledge: Proven track record in high-volume, highly operational, or regulated sectors (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain, or Hospitality) where strict compliance deadlines are critical.
- Must have a solid grasp of Singapore and Malaysia labor laws.
- Systems & Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency with enterprise ATS platforms (like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or SmartRecruiters) and an active interest in using digital automation and GenAI tools to streamline workflows.
- Core Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and a natural ability to coach and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting.
