Job Description

Adecco's client is seeking an experienced Head of Training to lead the development and governance of technical learning frameworks across its asset servicing operations. This role will be responsible for strengthening staff technical competencies and building a structured knowledge management ecosystem that supports multiple business lines.

The ideal candidate will drive the design and delivery of comprehensive training programmes, establish learning pathways for both new and experienced employees, and develop internal trainer capabilities. Working closely with senior leadership and global stakeholders, this individual will ensure training strategies align with operational excellence goals while fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Training Development

  • Lead the development and monitoring of staff competency frameworks across multiple business lines in Malaysia.
  • Plan, manage and oversee technical training programmes aligned with operational and business requirements.
  • Partner with Heads of Departments to identify technical training needs and enhance existing training offerings.
  • Develop transversal trainers capable of delivering technical training across multiple business lines.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs that drive standards of excellence and measurable outcomes for technical training initiatives.

Knowledge Academy Management

  • Design and implement a structured knowledge framework to capture and standardise business process knowledge across the organisation.
  • Develop instructional guidelines to support global knowledge champions in building and maintaining business process content.
  • Administer and manage knowledge tools and platforms to support learning development initiatives.
  • Monitor and prioritise knowledge content development to build structured learning pathways for both new joiners and experienced employees.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to support the development of knowledge materials across programmes and organisational initiatives.
  • Develop performance metrics and continuously enhance learning tools, content and learning pathways leveraging adult learning principles.

Requirements

  • 1215 years of experience within Asset Servicing, with at least 5 years of experience in technical training or learning development.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and instruments across asset servicing operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking training effectiveness, KPIs and ROI.
  • Experience in data analytics and visualisation to support learning insights and performance tracking.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across multiple business units.
  • Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Creative and proactive approach in designing innovative learning solutions to enhance organisational capability.
