Propose, develop, review, update and implement the Group's data governance framework, policies, procedures, and standards
Define data domains & ownership, roles & responsibilities, RACI metrics for key data governance roles and processes across the Group
Drive the adoption/enforcement of data governance policies and procedures across the bank
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed data governance practices & requirements into data related processes
Lead and develop data governance training & awareness program to educate staffs on data governance framework, policies, and practices
Provide leadership in assessing and reviewing project requests through centralized governance assessments (Data Governance Assessment and Project Risk Assessment)
Oversee and act as a facilitator for the Information Management Committee, ensuring efficient meeting coordination and follow-ups.
Develop data governance related KPI & metrics, track and report to management
Provide regular updates to management regarding to the progress & status of data governance initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders including Group Compliance and Internal Audit to assess, identify and mitigate data risks in the context of data governance
Oversee the department's operational risk strategy as Operational Risk Officer, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to manage risks (via RCSA/KRI)
Serve as the liaison for compliance and audit matters for the department
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information/Data Management, Data Science, Business Management or related field
At least 5 years of experience in data related roles such as data governance, data management, data architecture, or data analytics
Strong understanding of data governance practices, with prior experience in managing data governance initiatives, preferably in large scale organizations.
Strong understanding of data related regulatory compliance requirements, preferably in financial sector.
Good understanding and knowledge in managing data related risks and compliance matters
Proven experience in executing data governance program and initiatives
Good communication skills and able to articulate data governance topics & concepts to stakeholders of all levels
