Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the QMS for the project.
  • Advise the project director on the quality policy and objective establishment.
  • To monitor and verify the implementation of the quality control check system by respective QAQC managers.
  • To review the effectiveness of the quality control check system and take action to improve the system.
  • To review and monitor the effectiveness of the corrective actions taken in preventing recurrences of non-conformities.
  • To review and recommend improvements to the construction work methodology when required to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • To carry out trend analysis on the overall quality non-conformities and propose the required corrective and prevention actions.
  • Plan and carry out trainings on identified work quality issues to all effected parties.
  • Perform such individual assignments as the management may direct from time to time.
  • To provide quality statistics and other required information to the head of QSHE in the head office.
  • To act as representative between the Head of QSHE in the Head Office and the project team on work quality matters.
  • To oversee the implementation of the documents and record control.
  • To oversee the project completion documentation requirements for handling over to client including the archiving process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
  • Professional certification preferred of ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor/ Internal Auditor.
  • CIDB, BEM, IEM registrations (added advantage)
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced project environments.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in identifying defects, root causes, and preventive actions.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills for inspections and project sequencing.
  • Able to manage multiple inspections simultaneously with limited manpower.
  • Strong understanding of work interfaces (civil–MEP–architectural) and sequencing.
  • Proficiency in digital tools: EDMS platforms (eg ACC), spreadsheets, and reporting 
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in construction, infrastructure, MEP, or data centre projects
