Responsibilities:
• To oversee and coordinate teaching, services and activities for the School of IT (SOIT) and academic affairs development for all relevant departments.
• To assist in coordinating and developing business development activities through market and industrial research, analysis of the workplace systems and information system design, and derive relevant projects to improve the student population growth for the School of IT.
• To work closely with the Marketing team on the smart partnership, projects, seminars and forums and etc.
• To be responsible for programmes development, financial and profitability of the SOIT programmes.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline, including Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or other relevant IT fields.
• At least 5-7 years of working/ teaching experience in education line and managerial position.
• Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or Data Science, with relevant expertise in one or more of these areas being an advantage.
• Familiarity with MQA and SETARA/MyQUEST requirements, standards, and specifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
• Ability to manage lecturers, support staff, students and parents.
• Strong command in written and spoken English.
