The Role

As a rapidly growing global gaming marketplace platform, we are looking for a seasoned Growth & Performance Marketer to help us 10-20x our internet presence. You will assist the Founder & CEO to be the driving force for all things Marketing, with a focus on SEM/SEO & Paid Ads, playing a pivotal role in empowering ZeusX to be global firsts in targeted niches.

You should have the ability to craft out a long-term performance marketing strategy roadmap, plan/identify areas of improvements/gaps, and also be the detail-oriented champion to work on the implementation to move us towards the path of success.

You start off as the one and only Marketing person and gets a chance to build the function/team together alongside the company's growth.

Main ResponsibilitiesSEO Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and own the company's overall SEO roadmap and organic growth strategy.
  • Lead SEO planning across technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, content SEO, and local/international SEO.
  • Set measurable SEO KPIs including traffic growth, rankings, conversions, CTR, indexed pages, and revenue contribution.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and content teams to align SEO initiatives with business goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, Google algorithm updates, and AI search developments.

Technical SEO
  • Lead & own the technical SEO roadmap across the platform
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits and identify opportunities to improve crawlability, indexation, rankings, and site performance
  • Optimize site architecture, URL structures, canonicalization, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and internal linking systems
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues including duplicate content, crawl inefficiencies, orphan pages, broken links, and rendering/indexation problems
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented across the codebase
  • Improve Core Web Vitals and overall site performance metrics that impact SEO
  • Monitor and optimize crawl budget efficiency for large-scale dynamically generated pages
  • Implement and manage structured data/schema markup across relevant page types
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure new features and page templates are SEO-friendly by design

      2. Drive Programmatic SEO & Scalable Organic Growth

  • Design and implement scalable programmatic SEO strategies for marketplace and inventory-driven pages
  • Develop scalable landing page frameworks targeting high-intent search demand
  • Perform keyword discovery, clustering, and search intent analysis to identify scalable growth opportunities
  • Build SEO strategies for large sets of dynamically generated pages while maintaining content quality and indexation efficiency
  • Improve topical authority and search visibility across priority categories
  • Research and implement on-page optimization recommendations for organic SEO growth
  • Analyze competitor SEO strategies, page structures, and search visibility trends
  • Develop scalable internal linking and content discoverability strategies

Content & On-Page SEO
  • Build scalable keyword strategies based on search intent and business priorities.
  • Lead content optimization initiatives for landing pages, blogs, category pages, and programmatic SEO pages.
  • Perform competitor analysis and content gap analysis.
  • Ensure proper on-page optimization including metadata, headings, semantic structure, and internal linking.
  • Optimize conversion-focused SEO pages.

Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
  • Develop and manage white-hat link building strategies.
  • Oversee outreach campaigns, digital PR, citations, entity SEO, social signals, and brand authority initiatives.
  • Evaluate backlink profiles and identify toxic or low-quality links.
  • Coordinate with external SEO agencies or freelancers if needed.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and related tools.
  • Build SEO dashboards and monthly performance reports.
  • Analyze ranking trends, traffic quality, user behavior, and conversion performance.
  • Present insights and recommendations to management.

SEO Company Standard
  • Define workflows, SOPs, QA processes, and SEO standards.
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

  • >5 years relevant experience on SEO and Paid Ads (Google, TikTok), dealing with >100K users per month
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute SEO strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
  • Expertise in Keyword Research and Search Analysis to identify trends and optimize content.
  • Experience with data tracking setups (UTM tagging, Pixels, conversion APIs etc)
  • Comfortable in a lean start-up environment, where resources are limited and we are a small team
  • Analytical, logical and a strong interest in numbers and data
  • Self-starter,  entrepreneurial & eager to learn
  • Proficiency in Web Analytics and Data Analysis to monitor and improve website performance.
  • Experience in areas of marketplaces, ecommerce or gaming will be a major plus
  • While not required, it will be ideal if you are also an avid gamer or be familiar with how gamers buy & sell virtual items like mobile gaming accounts, in-game items and gaming services
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
