Job Descriptions

• Conduct applied Shariah-based research, studies and development (R&D) and in-depth Shariah analysis and review
• Develop Shariah-based thought leadership programs, initiatives and content
• Develop Shariah program for the management of MIB and the Board.
• Provide assistance to relevant stakeholders on Shariah related matters in implementing the bank's strategic initiative.
• Manage Shariah Talent development program.
• Lead and manage SCOE unit and staff in delivering its purposes and objectives.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Shariah, Islamic studies, Law with Shariah or Islamic Economy with Shariah.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in related fields - Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh and Usul Al-fiqh), Fiqh Al-Muamalat and Islamic Banking and Finance
• Good leadership and managerial experience skills
• Good command in Arabic and English.
• Good research skills.
• Familiar with Shariah research methodology.
