Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and control hazards.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions.
- Plan and conduct safety training, awareness programs, and emergency drills.
- Maintain records of safety activities, inspections, and incident reports.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
- Act as secretary to the Safety & Health Committee and support continuous improvement of safety culture.
- Enforce safety standards, approve subcontractor safety plans, and communicate with relevant authorities when required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Registered Safety & Health Officer with Green Book (required).
- Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.
- Minimum 23 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in report writing and computer applications.
