leNES Fircroft is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support a major greenfield data center development in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan. Embedded within a leading American Project Management Consultancy (PMC), you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment while ensuring compliance with Malaysian health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as the client's global HSE standard
s.This role will work closely with the client, contractors, consultants, and project teams to drive a proactive safety culture throughout all phases of construction. Previous data center experience is highly advantageous but not essentia

- iesMonitor and enforce compliance with project HSE policies, procedures, and Malaysian statutory requiremen
- ts.Conduct routine site safety inspections, audits, and workplace hazard assessmen
- ts.Identify unsafe acts and conditions, recommend corrective actions, and monitor close-out of findin
- gs.Review contractor HSE documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and permit-to-work documentati
- on.Support contractor onboarding, HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness initiativ
- es.Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing reports and recommending preventive actio
- ns.Monitor compliance with high-risk work activities, including work at height, lifting operations, confined space entry, hot works, electrical safety, and excavation wor

Requirem
- entsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related discipl
- ine.Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and holder of a valid Green Book certification is mandat
- ory.Minimum 3–8 years of HSE experience within construction, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or engineering proje
- cts.Sound knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and health legislation, regulations, and industry best practi
- ces.Experience conducting HSE inspections, audits, incident investigations, and contractor safety managem
- ent.Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management ski
- lls.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary project t
eam.
Preferred Qualifica
- tionsPrevious experience on data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or large-scale industrial construction proj
- ects.Experience working in a client-side, PMC, or EPC environ
- ment.Certifications in incident investigation, first aid, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or related HSE management systems are an added advan
- tage.Familiarity with international HSE standards and multinational project environm
ents.
