We are seeking a talented and experienced Hiring Data Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with the ability to design and build robust data pipelines and architecture to support our data-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.
- Implement data ingestion processes from various sources into data warehouses.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through monitoring and validation processes.
- Optimize existing data systems and propose improvements for performance and scalability.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
