JOB DESCRIPTION

  • We actively seek a Sr. Support Engineer, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS Financials, HRMS, SCM, CRM etc).This is a remote position and may be based in the Asia Pacific.

  • Position Summary
  • The role of the Sr. Support Engineer, Oracle EBS HR, Payroll and Finance skillsis to provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-criticalas part of our global customer support team. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting and supporting of Oracle Sr. Support Engineer, Oracle HR, Payroll and Finance for our global clients. The role requires the expertise and skills to diagnose serious issues; then develop, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly-configured environments.
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge ofOracle HR, Payroll and Financefunctionality andtechnology.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistently high-qualitycustomer experience.
  • Provide remote-based Techno-functional support for Sr. Support Engineer, Oracle HR, Payroll and Finance applications with strong localizations of Korean HR/Payroll including localizations.
  • Able to Troubleshoot and debug code, develop application break fixes for critical product defects.
  • Create scripts to identify, analyse and correct data issues.
  • Manage one or more key assigned accounts as a technical/functionaladvisor
  • Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in a testenvironment or via remote client connectivity
  • Be a pro-active contributor to a support organization which isrunning 24x7x365, this will require the ability to work flexible hours,including evenings, weekends and holidays and monitoring email regularlyoutside standard business hours
  • Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment toextend field experience to different client situations.
  • Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the client experience

  • Education
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience
  • 10+ years relevantTechno-FunctionalOracleHR/Payroll and Financeexperience required.
  • 5+ years direct support of HR/Payroll and Finance applications.
  • Solid Technical and Functional Expertise with understanding of underlying data flow of the HR/Payroll and Finance applications.
  • Previous large-scale or related industry experience.
  • Solid technical understanding and experience for analysis and support (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, C, Java and Linux operating system)
  • Excellent level of knowledge of Oracle HR/Payroll and Finance database structure
  • Knowledge of Oracle maintenance/patching mechanicsfor HR/Payroll and Finance applications architecture
  • Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules.
  • Skills
  • Superbtechno-functional trouble-shooting skills for HR/Payroll and Finance applications.
  • Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with clients.
  • Strong knowledge of key application functionality, tables and relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle HR/Payroll and Finance customization/extension methodologies
  • Excellent development skills using Oracle toolset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills verbal & written.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Extreme focus on Client satisfaction
  • English Language skills -both written & verbal are a must.
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations
  • The ability to work remotely from a home based office in a virtual environment
  • Desired Qualifications
  • The best candidates will have extensive knowledge ofOracle HR/Payroll and Finance applications across releases including proficiency with product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules and knowledge of underlying technology
  • A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful.
